I'm hiring on behalf of my company, Huntly, we're hiring for a Rust Engineer - Operational Success position, for one of our clients. Candidates can be based in North America or South America. The client is looking for strong profiles with well written CVs that show their strong RUST experience. The ideal candidate is someone with open source experience and a working knowledge of the graph / subgraphs.

Salary Range:
    US$140,000 -  US$200,000 annual
Requirements:
      1. Demonstrated experience in and deep understanding of Rust required - MANDATORY
      2. Successful track record of monitoring metrics and observability - MANDATORY - PLEASE PROVIDE EXAMPLES
      3. Experience with Assemblyscript/Typescript - MANDATORY
      4. Web3 experience - MANDATORY
      5. Previous experience with relational databases
      6. History of displaying extreme ownership in the workplace
      7. Previous experience communicating and working alongside both software engineers and devops engineers/site reliability engineers
      8. Proven track record of building software in Rust
Responsibilities:
      1. Establishing operational guidelines, objectives, and best practices for running Graph Nodes in production and their databases
      2. Actively monitoring and intervening in the Graph Nodes and their databases to ensure adherence to these standards
      3. Maintaining dashboards and identifying gaps in metrics, raising those gaps to the relevant team
      4. Monitoring operational expenses and seeking opportunities to reduce costs
      5. Propose, design and develop new ops tooling to make our team more effective
      6. Recognizing the risks of outages and data corruption, and proactively coordinating mitigation strategies and recovery strategies for those scenarios
